Our middle school ministry runs a number of programs aimed at providing each teen, no matter where they are in their commitment to Jesus Christ, a place to explore their faith and connect with fellow Chrisitans. There is a breif discription of each program below:

Early Out Open Bridge - held every Wednesday that the River Bend School District releases students early from classes. This program is a great way for new youth to be introduced to the Bridge Youth Ministry and we always encourge our youth to invite their friends. Early Outs include free snacks, games with prizes and the use of our youth center. We open Early Out at 12:30pm and close at 3:00pm. This year's schedule for Early Out is listed below:

Fall Season - Sept 14th & 28th, Oct 26th, Nov 16th

Winter/Spring Season - Jan 25th, Feb 29th, Mar 28th, Apr 25th

The Bridge YM is always in need of donations of snack items to facilitate Early Out. If you would like to help with this need you can contact our Interim Director of Youth Ministry, Joel Ankromi, at the email provided: ja-ankrom@wiu.edu

MS Mix (Middle School Midweek Experience) - MS Mix meets every Wednesday during the school year from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. Mix is our midweek program aimed at introducing youth to who Jesus Christ is and how He relates to their lives. Every night we always have an element of fun which may include a game, a time of small groups, a relevant and understandable message with each evening ending in a time of musical praise to our Lord. MS Mix is open to any youth of middle school age.

The bulk of our teaching lessons for MIX come from a resource put together by Simply Youth Ministry called the LIVE Curriculum. LIVE is a four year lesson plan for high school youth and comes with many helpful features for leaders, parents and students. You can learn more about the LIVE Curriculum from the link below:

Youth Text Message - every week before the youth arrive at MIX, those who are signed up for our text message system will receive a message from the LIVE Curriculum. This message will pose a question or thought about that weeks lesson, encouraging the youth to start engaging in the conversation about the topic before they even enter the building. You can sign your child up for the text message system at the link below:

Parents E-mail - following each weeks message at MIX, parents can receive an email from the LIVE Curriculum that gives a brief summary of the message and also provides questions that parents can ask of their youth to continue the conversation about the topic at home. You can sign up for the weekly parents email by sending a message to the email below:
